Fluor/LNG Canada – Kitimat

The Fluor/LNG Canada project in Kitimat represents the largest energy investment in Canadian history.

BuLa disassembled the existing Methanex Plant Facility that was on this site and shipped all the components to China in 2011.

Jump ahead to 2023, and BuLa is back at the same reworked site to aid in the installation of all rotating equipment on the new plant facility modules, including BH Compressors (the low- and high-pressure compressors that turn the gas into liquid) and 147,500 horsepower Super-Cores (LMS 100 turbine).

The Fluor/LNG Canada export facility will liquefy surplus Canadian natural gas so it can be safely exported to help meet global energy demands.
